MINI Clubman Cooper S 2016 (ENG) - Test Drive and Review Video

MINI Clubman is now in its second generation. The Clubman first appeared in similar form back in 2007. The previous generation also had vertically split tailgate, but access to the back seats was through suicide doors on the right side. Despite me liking the quirky Clubman, I’m not surprised it wasn’t a sales hit. In the new MINI Clubman you get full-size rear doors on both sides, and because the Clubman is 7 cm wider than the hatch, and has 17 cm longer wheelbase, three adults can fit in the back. Fold the seats, and you get 1250 litres of loading space, which is more than in BMW 1 series or Toyota Auris. And in 5-seat configuration you get 360 litres, similar to 1 Series and Toyota Auris.
