Gold Chocolate Melting Ball - Topless Baker Video

Why not take an amazing chocolate melting ball and spray it gold! This is such a showstopping dessert and one to impress all your friends with. Follow these easy steps and learn how to create this fancy dessert.

For this gold chocolate melting ball dessert you will need:

90g 70% Chocolate (per ball - link to ball below)
Gold Food Spray
Caramel
Ice Cream & Fruit To Serve

Method:

1. Melt 60g chocolate over a double boiler until it reaches 114F

2. Take it off the heat and add the remaining 30g of chopped chocolate and cool it down to 91F

3. Immediately pour it into the ball mold and swirl around the chocolate coating every side

4. Pop it in the fridge for an hour, but turning it every 2 mins for the first 15 mins so that the chocolate doesn't set in one place

5. Take it out of the fridge and melt a hole on the bottom using a warm pan. Pop it back in the fridge to reset the base

6. Take the cooled ball out of the fridge and spray it with gold food colouring

7. Place it on top of your ice cream and fillings and pour hot caramel all over the top!
