These are the most advanced filter cartridges on the market today. They are made of uniformly bonded filtration media and the new 4 oz bonded media contains more fibers per unit area.

But back to the Pleatco Advanced cartridges. You can just feel the quality in these cartridges. But I wanted to test these in a way that was extreme and over the top. I wouldn't run this test at a customer's house so I decided to use my pool and filter. Note: my wife was out at the time or she would have stopped me for sure ;)
So in this test I add 10 lbs bag of Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.) which is the filter element for a D.E. filter. Please note that it should not be used in a cartridge filter as it will damage the pleats and clog the filter media permanently. Of course not in this case as you will see in the video.
I also add a bag of potting soil - nasty black stuff and a scoop of dirt just to top things off.
After all of this the filter pressure did not budge and the pool was crystal clear the next day. Amazing. Try them for yourself, minus the test I did of course.
