Contract of Indemnity is a contract by which one party promises to save from loss caused to him by the conduct of the promiser himself or by conduct of any other person.
This kind of contract includes two parties i.e. "Indemnifier" and "Indemnity Holder".

Contract of Guarantee
This is the contract to perform the promise or to discharge the liability of a third person in case of his default.
It includes three persons;
1. The person who gives the guarantee is called the "SURETY".
2. The person in respect to whose default the guarantee is given the "PRINCIPLE DEBTOR".
3. The person to whom default the guarantee is called "CREDITOR".
