Smog and air pollution are major problems around the world, and we know they impact our health. A recent study estimates that toxic air shortens our lives by 20 months on average. That's according to the Health Effects Institute in their latest report on the state of global air quality. Smog and air pollution are now bigger killers than malaria and road accidents - and comparable to smoking.
