「winter fall」（ウィンター・フォール）は、L'Arc〜en〜Cielの8作目のシングル。1998年1月28日発売。発売元はKi/oon Sony Records。
前作「虹」以来3ヶ月ぶり、また、yukihiroが正式加入して初のシングルで、5thアルバム『HEART』の先行シングルとして発売された。

前作の大ヒットからの流れということもあり、L'Arc〜en〜Cielとしては初めてオリコンシングルチャートで1位を獲得。オリコン調べによると前作を上回る累計85.0万枚を売り上げた。

本作の表題曲はテレビ朝日放送の海外ドラマ『シカゴ・ホープ2』とJR東日本のキャンペーン・JR Ski Skiとの間で激しいタイアップ争奪戦となったが、テレビ朝日がこの争奪戦を制し、『シカゴ・ホープ2』の日本語版の主題歌として採用されている[1]。ちなみに、L'Arc〜en〜Cielの楽曲として初となるドラマ主題歌への起用となった。

また、前々作「Lies and Truth」以来2作ぶりに表題曲の"hydeless version"（所謂カラオケバージョン）が収録されている。
