We were able to do a full room tour of the newly refurbished family suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, and they look amazing! These rooms have been completely overhauled with new flooring, new paint, a redesigned kitchenette, under-the-bed storage, USB outlets, dressers, pull-down Murphy beds, and new mattresses. One of the biggest changes is that the rooms now have 3 queen sized beds, instead of a queen, full, and 2 twins. We are very happy with how these turned out and think it's a great option for larger families.

Here is a video of the original All-Star Family Suites that you may still get until all the buildings are finished being remodeled:

They've started in Buildings 10 and 9 and are working their way down to Building 1. All of the Family Suites are in Buildings 1, 2, 9, & 10, so half of them will not be done until the end of the project. The entire resort is projected to be done sometime in 2020, but the exact date has not been announced.

You can request a remodeled room at All-Star Music on your reservation or when you check in, but as always, there is no guarantee you will get one. It's always based on availability, but Disney does work to accommodate as many guests as possible.
