Huge thanks to Matt and Ilya for this collaboration. Watch how they forged this awesome blade here:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEjEAxdJLOg4k854j-oESfQWhile handling this blade I did my best to stick to the straight razor theme Matt and Ilya had in mind.
Since the damascus is already so rich in details and also because of the integral bolster I decided not to make a segmented handle construction like I usually do for my knives.
Instead I focused my effort on the tang, filing a pattern and laminating the olive wood with a black and a solid brass liner to match the pins colors and materials.
Overall I'm very pleased with how sleek the handle came out and I think it goes well with the blade!
Index of operation and materials:
1:10 Marking layout lines for the pin holes
1:25 Center punching pin holes
1:34 Drilling 4mm pin holes
2:09 Tang was hard near the bolster, had to soften it with heat protecting the bolster with a wet rag
2:32 Temper colors should show where the steel is now soft
2:39 One spot was still hard had to drill with a sharpened stone bit
2:49 Layout color for the filework marks
2:60 To make the filework I used a wide range of files
3:47 But also a die grinder to help smooth some curves
4:30 And also a dremel with a cut off disc to make finer detalis
Watch how I made another filework design without using files here:

10:00 MOSAIC PINS process explained in his video:

11:52 Glueing handle with 90min epoxy resin, all surfaces de-greased off-camera
13:18 Rough shaping with 2x72 belt grinder
13:53 Hand sanding up to the filework by hand to avoid overshooting
14:20 Boiled linseed oil as finish
14:45 Sharpening with a very high grit belt on the slac of the 2x72

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥
Origins of the Idea 🌱
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠
Challenges Faced 🤔
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍
Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube 📺
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟
Content and Users 🎵
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact 🤑
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
