Watermelon Rice Krispie Treats
I know its not summer but i really want to try making this Rice Krispie treat. If you live in the Philippines, you will feel that summer never leave, because if there's no typhoon it's always warm in here. Not that I'm complaining. And watermelon is the best to make using rice krispie.
I really enjoyed doing this especially when i saw the finish product and when i tasted it, its really good.
I recommend this doing with your children, niece or anyone who is kid at heart.

Watermelon Rice Krispie Treats Recipe
Ingredients
Green Rice Krispie
1 cup rice crispies
½ cup marshmallow
1 tbsp butter
Red Rice Krispie
2 cups rice crispies
1 cup marshmallow
1 tbsp butter
*Chocolate chips (for watermelon seeds)
Procedure:
1. Melt butter in a pan. Stir in marshmallow. Remove from the heat when marshmallow is almost melting. Pour in green food color and mix. Stir in rice krispies until evenly coated.
2. Grease your hand with (cooking spray or butter) and put mixture in a greased baking dish or any round container. Press around the edges to create a rind. Set aside.
3. In a clean pan melt butter. Add marshmallow. Remove from heat when marshmallow is almost melting. Pour red food color and mix. Stir in rice krispies until evenly coated.
4. Grease hand and put mixture in the center of the round container and spread. You can use wax paper to press the rice krispies evenly. Put in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to set.
5. Carefully run a greased knife around the edges and flip the container to remove the watermelon rice krispies. Cut into 6-8 portion.
6. Randomly press chocolate chips on the red part of the rice krispies.
