Cross Save is coming to Destiny 2 in Shadowkeep and New Light. How does it work? Is it Cross Play or not? Let's go over it! This is a revised version of the previous guide.

To clarify now that it's live:
You are selecting one platforms set of characters (the 3 character slots) to show up INSTEAD OF the character slots on other platforms.
So, I play PS4, I logged into Xbox with Cross Save active and my Xbox characters do not show up while Cross Save is active on my account.
Be warned if you want to play multiple platform characters, as you are locking your characters in for 90 days. Wish they'd clarified this in better words sooner.
This does not mean your characters are deleted, they are just not available on those other platforms until you turn cross save off or choose one of those platforms instead.
