This is the culmination of a lot of work in between travelling this summer. My life long love and addiction for aggressive skating started when I was just 12 years old. And it is fair to say that ever since then I have not gone a single day when my life wasn't influenced in some way by the sport. It is my one true passion. The thing that makes me feel alive. Keeps my head clear. And above all - inspires me more than I ever thought possible. I have shaped most of my decisions since being a teen around aggressive skating. Met some of the most incredible people through the sport, that will always be life long friends. And made some of my fondest memories.

This video is a homage to a few influences within the industry that have inspired and driven me the most. Bladergang - Now a very successful brand - the idea that we (rollerbladers) as a collective are one huge family spread across the globe doing what we love the most! I love that notion and it is something that is so true within the sport. When you rock up to a skatepark, or contest, or street spot and you meet other rollerbladers there. People you might never have met before. It's like you are all long lost family. Something I love the most about the whole culture of aggressive skating itself. And second - Brian Aragon - A professional aggressive skater (arguably the best and most successful career rollerblader in the world). Brian has inspired me since the early 2000's with his flawless style and perfect execution of any trick or obstacle he took on. With 6 Pro skates to his name and many world championship titles from all over the globe. Brian is a hero of our sport and someone who still to this day inspires me and my own skating every time I put my blades on. Not to forget one of my favourite pro skaters right now - Eugen Enin.

Filmed almost entirely solo using multiple 360 cameras (Insta 360 One X) Featuring mostly new but a couple of not so new clips too! For me - whenever I skate I love to capture it on camera. But its not always possible to have someone else there with you thats willing or able to film you. Especially when you might be at a spot trying the same trick a lot of times over. So earlier this year I discovered 360 cameras - and thought about the possibility of being able to use them to film myself skate. But to edit the footage afterwards in a way that it looked like I had a person there following my every move. Turns out - you can get some pretty awesome shots filming solo like this!

Turn up the volume LOUD!

Thank you so much for watching!

Big love to all the homies that helped with them extra angles - I have so much love for you all - you know who you are!

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
