Similarities between Pteridophytes and Bryophytes
1) Both Pteridophytes and Bryophytes show heteromorphic alternation of generation.
2) Antheridia and archegonia are present in both.
3) In all bryophytes and in some Pteridophytes rhizoids are present instead of roots.
4) Fertilization in both is dependent on water.
5) All bryophytes and some Pteridophytes have homospores.
