Microsoft Skype for Business Appear Offline | End User Training | How to set Skype Offline Status:

Lets watch a short video training for End user - very useful tweak of Microsoft Skype for business - How to add a new status - Appear Offline.

In this short one minute video I will show you how to add a new status - Appear offline to skype for business (2015 or 2016 edition).
All you have to do is to:
a) manually change the registry settings or
b) to enter the following command:

Reg Add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync" /V "EnableAppearOffline" /D 1 /T REG_DWORD /F

If all was done correctly - there will be a confirmation message:
The operation completed successfully.

The last thing to mention is if you have Microsoft Skype for business version 2015 - the directory in the command path will be 15.0 and if you have version 2016, the directory will be 16.0
