데뷔곡 ‘팡파레’에서의 패기 넘치는 아이들, ‘부르릉’의 폭발하는 청춘, ‘쉽다’의 상처받은 소년. 소년과 남자의 경계를 아우르는 매력으로 사랑 받고 있는 그룹 SF9이 세 번째 미니앨범 ‘Knights of the Sun’을 발표했다.
‘Knights of the Sun’의 타이틀곡은 ‘오 나의 태양’이라는 의미의 ‘오솔레미오 (O Sole Mio)’다. 이 곡에서 SF9은 태양을 수호하는 아홉 명의 기사로 분해 잃어버린 태양을 찾아 나서는 이야기를 그렸다. 이전보다 한층 성숙해졌지만, 이상을 좇는 소년의 순수함을 여전히 간직하고 있다.
매력적인 기타 선율로 시작되는 ‘오솔레미오 (O Sole Mio)’는 작곡가 서용배가 참여해 탄생했다. 뜨거운 태양처럼 정열적인 라틴팝 사운드와 소맷자락을 휘날리는 퍼포먼스로 한 편의 영화 같은 무대를 완성했다. 앨범 재킷과 ‘오솔레미오 (O Sole Mio)’ 뮤직비디오는 미국 캘리포니아 올로케이션으로 촬영해 압도적인 스케일을 느낄 수 있다.
타이틀곡 ‘오솔레미오 (O Sole Mio)’ 외에도 랩 멤버들의 진솔한 생각이 담긴 ‘詩; 00:00’과 보컬 멤버들의 성숙한 R&B 감성이 돋보이는 ‘빈칸’을 비롯해, SF9의 재기 발랄한 에너지를 담은 ‘나랑 놀자’, 중독성 강한 트랩 힙합 ‘불호령’, 리드미컬한 리듬이 전주부터 귀를 사로잡는 ‘웬 감성팔이야’ 등 다채로운 매력을 보여줄 여섯 곡이 담겼다.
SF9은 영빈, 인성, 재윤, 다원, 로운, 주호, 태양, 휘영, 찬희 총 아홉 명의 멤버로 구성된 실력파 남성 댄스그룹이다. 팀명은 ‘Sensational Feeling(센세이셔널 필링) 9’의 머리글자의 조합으로 세상을 깜짝 놀라게 할 소년들을 뜻하며, 한자 ‘오랠 구(久)’를 숫자 ‘9’로 형상화해 팀의 활동과 인기가 영원히 지속될 것이라는 의미를 포함했다.

Rookie SF9 to Release their Third Mini Album, ‘Knights of the Sun’
SF9 debuted with the full spirited track ‘Fanfare’, followed by the powerful youth track 'Roar’ and continued on with the emotional track ‘Easy Love’. With charms of both youth and maturity, SF9 releases their third mini album, ‘Knights of the Sun’.
The main track ‘O Sole Mio’ from ‘Knights of the Sun’s’ means ‘Oh my Sun’. In this album, SF9 goes out to find the lost sun as knights protecting the sun. They have become more mature than before but still remains as pure boys who chase the absolute.
Beginning with a charming guitar melody, ‘O Sole Mio’ is created by composer, Seo Yong Bae. They were able to bring a movie like stage with Latin pop sounds that burns like the sun along with a performance that explodes with passion. The album covers and ‘O Sole Mio’ MV that was filmed in California, USA give overwhelming scale.
Besides the main track ‘O Sole Mio,’ SF9 shows their various charms through a total of 6 tracks. ‘詩; 00:00,’ sneaks into the truth told by the members; ‘Blank’ is full of R&B soul; ‘Let’s Hang Out’ is an energetic track; ‘Scold’ is an addictive trap hip-hop track; and ‘Just On My Way’ holds a catchy rhythmical intro.
SF9 is dance boy group consisting of nine members, Young Bin, In Seong, Jae Yoon, Da Won, Ro Woon, Zu Ho, Tae Yang, Hwi Young and Cha Ni. The group name stands for 'Sensational Feeling 9’ and has the meaning to surprise the world and the number ‘9’ embodies the meaning of ‘long-lasting’ from the Chinese word ’jiu (久)’.
