You can make your own LIQUID laundry detergent in a snap. Watch how I do it!

2 cups Super Washing Soda (Arm and Hammer)
2 cups Borax (20 Mule Team)
1 bar Castile Soap (Fels Naptha or Dr. Bronner's work great!)
5 gallon bucket with lid
5 gallons water

Using a sharp knife, thinly slice the soap. Add it to a pot with 2 quarts water. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes or until all the soap is dissolved.

While the soap is warming, add 4.5 gallons of hot water to the 5 gallon bucket. Add 2 cups super washing soda and 2 cups borax and stir until dissolved. When the soap/water mixture is ready, add it to the bucket and stir until all ingredients are well combines. Cover and allow to to sit undisturbed for 24 hours.

Remove lid and stir until all the gel and water is fully incorporated.
