Gedreht wurde dieser Clip in Österreich. Drehorte: Riffelsee (Pitztal) und am Naturparkaus (Kaunertal).
Der Song "Amazing Grace" bedeutet mir sehr viel. Er hat eine besondere Kraft. Woran liegt das?, fragte ich mich. Darin wird die Lebenserfahrung eines Mannes beschrieben, der in seinem Leben viel erlebt hat, Positives, wie auch Negatives und am Ende gesehen hat, dass es Gottes Gnade ist, die Rettung bringt.
"Gnade" ist heute leider für viele ein Fremdwort. Darum wünsche ich mir, dass Sie die Gnade erfahren. O Gnade Gottes wunderbar.

Amazing Grace wurde von John Newton nach einem besonderen Erlebnis geschrieben. John Newton war Kapitän eines Sklavenschiffes. Als er im Mai 1748 in schwere Seenot geriet, schrie er zu Gott um bat ihn um Gnade und Hilfe.
Nachdem Gott ihn wunderbar erhört hatte, änderte er sein Leben und wurde Christ. Gottes Gnade veränderte ihn so, dass es die Sklaven deutlich merkten. Einige Jahre später wurde er Geistlicher und trat für die Bekämpfung der Sklaverei ein.
