To make this for yourself you will need:
♡ 2 tablespoons of cold water
♡ 200g/7oz/1 cup of caster sugar
♡ 5 tablespoons of golden syrup
♡ 1½ teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda
♡ 600g/21oz/3¾ cups milk chocolate
♡ Yellow, purple & red fondant icing
♡ A piping bag of royal icing
♡ Baking spray to grease the tin

Equipment you will need:
♡ A non-stick loaf tin measuring 11cm x 7cm x 30cm/4.3" x 2.8" x 12"
♡ A piping bag
♡ A no.1 & no.2 piping nozzle
♡ Non-stick greaseproof/baking paper
♡ A pastry brush - optional
♡ A large pan
♡ A heat-proof bowl to melt the chocolate over a pan of hot water
♡ A spatula
♡ A whisk

Method:
1. Add your water, sugar and golden syrup to a large pan and set over a low heat until the mixture is completely liquid. Be careful not to let the mixture boil here.
2. Once all the sugar has dissolved, turn up the heat and bring to the boil.
3. When the caramel has turned golden in colour and has reached 150°C/350°F, turn off the heat and add 1½ teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda and whisk quickly.
4. Pour immediately into a greased and lined loaf tin and leave to set for about 2 hours at room temperature.
5. Once set, leave in the tin and pour over 200g/7oz/1 cup of melted chocolate and spread into each corner with a spatula. Leave to set at room temperature for a couple of hours.
6. When the chocolate has set take out of the tin and wipe the honeycomb down with a paper towel to remove any excess oil from greasing.
7. Prop the bar up with two bowls or objects of your choice and poor over the remaining 400g/14oz/2¼ cups of melted chocolate.
8. Then wiggle a spatula down the length of the chocolate and allow to chocolate to fall over the edges of the bar.
9. Wiggle a spoon down the length of the bar to create a nice pattern on the bar and again leave to set for a few hours at room temperature.
10. Once set, apply a thin coating of golden syrup to three quarters of the bar and set to one side.
11. Roll out a large ball of yellow fondant about 3mm thick and big enough to cover the bar. Place the bar face down in the middle of the fondant, cover the bottom with a little golden syrup and wrap around the bar. Peal back the fondant from the side not coated with golden syrup, trim off the excess and neatly tuck in the rough edges.
12. Roll out a ball of purple fondant about 3mm thick and cut out the Cadbury logo and the crunchie letters using a non-serrated knife. Then roll out another ball of purple fondant slightly thicker this time, about 8mm thick, and cut out the end of the rapper with a spikey end. This should be the same width as the bar and about 3-4 inches long.
13. Roll out another small ball of red fondant about 3mm thick and cut out the crunchie letters again.
14. Using a small amount of water, stick on the logo and the purple letters, as many as you can fit on; I could only fit on ‘crunc’.
15. Then stick on the red letters on top of the purple letters but slightly up and to the left to give the appearance of a shadow.
16. Using white royal icing and a no.2 nozzle pipe around the letters. Then using a no.1 nozzle, pipe the Cadbury logo.
17. Enjoy all your hard work!

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
