Composer Michael Giacchino's choice of piano as the cornerstone of this piece is interesting, as it's an instrument that requires hands. In the film, this track is juxtaposed against scenes of Dr. Strange post-accident staring helplessly at his crippled hands in horror and frustration, exhausting every option in Western medicine to try to fix it, unwilling to accept that he's lost his career and identity as a neurosurgeon forever. I've also added orchestral sounds that augment the sad and contemplative tone of this track.
