1. Bank: Is a place where we deposit our cash/jewelry etc.
मैं आज बैंक जाने वाली हूँ
I will go to the bank today.
The other meaning of the word bank is trust or विश्वास.
मैं तुमपे विश्वास कर सकती हूँ
I can bank on you.
2. Book: Book can be a story book or a recipe book or a book that we read in school or colleges
यह मेरी फेवरेट स्टोरी बुक है
This is my favorite story book.
The word book is also used to express reservations, such as:
मैंने आज दो मूवी टिकट्स बुक किये है
I have booked two movie tickets today.
3. Can: Can is a word used to express the capability of a person to do something
क्षमता
मैं गाना गा सकती हूँ
I can sing OR I can dance.
The word Can is also referred to as a container to contain liquids.
यह तेल का कैन बहुत हैवी है
This can of oil is very heavy.
4. Lie: Lie is a word that most popularly means to refrain from the truth
झूट बोलना
मुझसे झूट मत बोलो
Do not lie to me.
This word also means to relax or आराम करना
मैं आज आराम करना चाहता हूँ क्यूंकि मैं बहुत थक गया हूँ
I want to lie down now because I am very tired.
5. Light: this word not only means light as रौशनी however it also means the opposite of heavy
Something which is easy to carry or hold हलका
यहाँ बहुत अँधेरा है, प्लीज लाइट ऑन कर दीजिये .

6. Like: This word is primarily used to express affinity, (पसंद)
मुझे पिज़्ज़ा खाना पसंद है.
I like to eat pizzas.

7. Kind: The first meaning of this word is दयालु
Someone who is compassionate.
