When planning your project, remember one package equals one square foot. There are two easy ways to install these tiles. If your walls are clean, smooth and freshly primed, use Method 1. Simply peel and stick.

If you don’t want to prime your walls, you can use Method 2, which involves using a liquid adhesive. Mark a reference line where you want to begin.

Let’s start with Method 1. First, peel of the back and position your first tile with your reference line. Press the tile lightly at first, check for position, and then press firmly. Be careful when handling these. They can fold onto themselves. Each tile fits together like pieces of a puzzle. If you have a tile out of position you can use a putty knife to remove it.

With Method 2, add a bit of adhesive before installation. Peel off the back and add pea-sized dots to the tile. Press the tile lightly at first, and then press firmly.

To cut a tile, mark it with a permanent marker. For straight cuts, you can use a glass cutter. For straight cuts, as well as notched cuts, you can use a wet saw. To smooth cut edges, you can use fine sandpaper.

Once your install is complete you’ll want wait 24 hours before exposing to moisture or heat. We recommend a bead of sealant between the countertop and the backsplash or anywhere there might be moisture.
