In this demo, you will see how IBM Case Manager for Investigations (ICMI) capabilities are used to manage, identify and track key pieces of evidence leading to a successful arrest and prosecution. In our scenario, the 911 system has just received a call for a shooting during an armed robbery at a gas station in which a child was killed. An Investigations Case has been created an pertinent information added. You will see the Unit Supervisor, who will perform initial triage and assign a Detective. In leading the investigation, this Detective will collaborate and initiate many tasks required for a successful outcome. One of these tasks will be to work with a Forensics Analyst, responsible for analyzing the many relationships and leads that will be developed during the course of the investigation. Upon completion of the investigation, the Detective will make his recommendation and package the final case for prosecution.
