Der Landwirtschafts-Simulator 21 steht vor der Tür - Zeit, eine lange Wunschliste zusammenzustellen, mit Dingen, die dem Farming Simulator bislang fehlen. Dazu zählen Verbesserungen beim Gameplay, Bugfixes, Crossplay und andere technische Features - allerdings auch viele inhaltliche Dinge. So fehlt es dem LS etwa bislang an gebrauchten Maschinen, es gibt keine Öffnungs- oder Lieferzeiten. Dazu kommt der eingeschlafene Forstbereich, der durch Spezialgerät und neue Funktionen belebt werden könnte. Überdies fehlt es dem LS bislang an Leben in der Spielwelt. Sprechende Charaktere, belebte Nachbarhöfe, Imker, ein Hofladen, eine umfangreiche Werkstatt - all das könnte das Spiel realistischer machen. Auch bei den Fahrzeugen darf sich im LS21 einiges tun: GPS-Funktion, ein besserer Helfer, funktionierende Displays, bedienbare Türen und Fenster - all das ist (insbesondere auf der PS4 und der Xbox One) zwar sicherlich nicht einfach umzusetzen, würde das Spiel aber extrem aufwerten. Wirklich wichtig sind aber neue Fruchtsorten und Anbaumethoden: Tomaten, Salat, Kohl, Zwiebeln, Erdbeeren, Äpfel, Birnen, Oliven, Reis Kakao - das fehlt bislang im Landwirtschafts-Simulator! Ein dynamischer Boden wäre zwar toll für das Gefühl, er darf aber auch nicht zu viel Performance kosten.
