Sometimes it helps to set your thoughts out on the table,
To take their measure and test their seams, and see if they
Are properly joined and neatly finished.

So, hear my dream.
King or not, any child of mine
Would be a craftsman, too.
No shame in that.

A man's character is marked out
By what he does with his hands.
Be careful where your callouses
Come from, son.
And the scars in your hands.

Your mother dreams you will be

Doors and square corners and heavy cross beams.
