Hotel we stayed in London - Four Seasons on Trinity Square - top notch service, rooms are huge! The only downside is the rooms are pretty dark because they don't face out into the streets but if you're willing to sacrifice natural light extra living space then this is your baby :D
Restaurants In London
- Duck & Waffle - try the signature duck and waffle
- Roka - sushi restaurant, try the yellow tail with truffle oil and the cotton cheesecake.
- Sketch - went for afternoon tea but they also have dinner. Definitely make reservations!
- The Gallery inside Fortnum & Mason - We stopped in for lunch because we were starving but if you can I would say skip this restaurant(food wasn't the best) or just pop in for a glass of their famous Champagne or Rose and their sticky toffy pudding dessert.
- Hakkasan - went to the one in Mayfair - the Wagyu Steak was AMAZING! Everything else was just ok but the ambience is really cool.
- Mayfair Chippy - best Fish and Chips!
- Laduree - macarons, coffee and tea! Try the coffee with Chantilly cream and salted caramel macarons.
Shopping In London -
- Borough Market - outdoor market with lots of fresh foods and street food! Go hungry :D
- Bond Street - great for luxury shopping or if you just want to take in the beautiful architecture and it's less crowded than other popular shopping streets
- Fortnum & Mason - great for suveneir shopping! We bought lots of gourmet biscuits, teas and coffees for our friends and family.
- Selfridge - Luxury department store - you can find pretty much anything you can think of.
- Oxford Street - most popular shopping street , they have everything from forever 21 to more luxe shopping. Also lots of street food! Oh, and if you need cheap luggage to take home souvenirs, you can find it here too.
- Covent Garden - beautiful outdoor shopping center, we didn't get to explore much here because it started raining.
