GLAY 「HOWEVER」 珍しく歌詞間違い RED RIBBON LIVE 2011 エイズ啓発運動 Video

2011年11月27日。東京都渋谷区のshibuya-axで行われた、エイズの予防啓発ライブ「RED RIBBON LIVE 2011」。

RED RIBBON LIVE の趣旨に賛同し、その活動を応援するGLAYのTERUさん。

「レッドリボンの活動をすることで"つながり"を大事にするようになった。
家族や友達を大事に。一番は自分のことを知りたいと思うようになった。
初めてHIV啓発のCMに出たときに、自分でHIVの検査に行って
"もっと自分を知ってください"という言葉を届けた。」
「今、伝えたい思い、そしてもっと広くこのHIV、レッドリボンの存在を
知って欲しいということで曲を届けます。」

GLAYの名曲『HOWEVER』を熱唱。
５分２５秒のあたりで、とても珍しい歌詞間違い。
一旦は演奏をストップさせるが、再び歌い出した姿はとても美しかった。

"ごまかさない""自分に正直に"
"正しい情報""一度は立ち止まっても再び歩き出す"

その姿は、RED RIBBON LIVE らしい力強いメッセージになった。

日本におけるHIV感染者・エイズ患者の新規報告数は、依然として増加傾向。
この危機的な状況に歯止めを掛けるため、ラジオDJの山本シュウさんを中心に、
様々な著名人が各界から集結し、ライブとトークを通じてエイズの予防啓発を呼びかけるイベント「RED RIBBON LIVE」を行った。（厚生労働省 主催）
