The biggest and most important question you guys are asking is, "why would world powers lie to the world about what the world is?" It seems like something really dumb and insignificant to lie about. You are correct in thinking this as the world's shape isn't as important as what they're really hiding and what they plan on doing in the future with similar deceptions.
