Urad dal is also good for women as it has iron, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, potassium which makes it a healthy pulse.For those who do not eat meat or fish, have black gram as it is rich in protein which is much required by the body

Two variations of Ulundu dosa recipe:
1.Ulundu with vellam or sugar
2.Ulundu with vellam and Egg

These two variations of Urad dal dosai is very easy to make for breakfast.

Before preparing ulundu dosai recipe
1.Soak Urad dal for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
2.Grind Urad dal in mixee
3.add salt (a pinch),Sugar(3 to 4 tsp),Jaggery(Dissolved in water).
4.Beat all well for 5 mins
5.Add egg(Optional) Again beat ulunthu dosai batter for 5 mins.
6.Heat tawa and make dosa batter ready.
7.Pour Ulundu dosa batter into tawa and cook in low flame or medium flame.
8.Serve hot for breakfast.
