Pledge of Allegiance: ‘One Nation Under Allah’ Video

Public School Students attending Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado are used to hearing the Pledge of Allegiance blaring from the speakers. They all have it memorized so they can practically recite it in their sleep. But this week it was different. Instead of it being in English it was in Arabic. And instead of hearing 'one nation under God, they heard a new variation to the pledge that jolted some of them as they heard, "One nation under Allah."

Needless to say, word traveled back to parents and the school got quite a few complaints. But the school communications director, Danielle Clark, defended the school's decision. She said she didn't see why the parents were upset.

School Principal Tom Lopez defended his decision. He's sticking with Allah, making it clear he's not reversing his position. And as for the parents who disagree with him? He simply branded them as haters, adamantly declaring that his school's cultural clubs seeks to destroy the barriers and embrace other cultures in their high school.

While we're at it, why don't we close all checkpoints to all our borders and embrace millions of people of all cultures to come on in? Amnesty for everyone. Help yourself to all the food stamps you need, healthcare and a free public school education where you can recite the pledge of allegiance to any country you choose. No barriers? No problem.
