Lots Of Fun!
We're in New York City for 1 day. We kmow it as the city that never sleeps.
New York City is made up of 5 Buroughs. Brookyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan and Staten Island. But for this trip we only stayed in Manhattan. People come from all around the world to see this amazing city.
Wade Tours bus # 135 drops us off at Bryant Park & we venture off from there!
Time Square is one of the sights in Manhattan wear everyone wants to be.
No trip to NYC is complete without going to the top of the Empire State Building. It's another hot tourist attraction.
Be sure to visit the New York Public Library.
At around 4pm, we grab the Subway train (D line) to 59th Street Central Park.We rode in R44 Subway car # 2657.
It's a lot of traffic people and horn honking but I like it. The city is know for it's famous yellow taxis. You would be pround if you got to use one. We definitely were.
Note:
The Empire State Building was completed on May 1, 1931. It attracts over 3 million tourists a year! A great place to go and get great views of Manhattan if you are'nt affraid of hights. We did not get to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.
