Could this be the creepiest, most disturbing children's cartoon / anime ever to air on television? I think so!
Popee The Performer is a 2001 Japanese kids animated series with some horrifying visuals and morbid themes. Despite having a lot of comedic charm it's a wonder that this got on a kids television station!

Today I take a look at some disturbing kids animation! Looking back on my childhood, I grew up with some frightening cartoons, Courage the Cowardly Dog and Invader Zim to name a few. This children's anime however has much more disturbing imagery than even most adult animated series today.
This video is an in-depth review of quite possibly the creepiest kids animation out there, Popee the Performer.
