Belfast Castle in 360 Degree Video - For Weddings & Tea Video

Home
We spent an excellent day at Belfast Castle in Belfast of course :-) Just outside the city on the Antrim Road - overlooking the city. Known locally - Belfast Castle Weddings tend to be a grand affair - as is afternoon tea. There are great views from the castle estate and a story of the Belfast Castle Cats (You can see some of the cats in the videos!) where there are many "cats" to find around the garden.

There are lots and lots of attractions in Northern Ireland and Ireland that one could visit but every single one of them will depend on where you are staying because some might end up being far from one another and thus you could end up choosing a place which would be hard for you to reach.

Belfast Castle is one of the attractions found in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and one of the different things to see in Belfast. Belfast Castle is set on the slopes of Cavehill Country Park, 400 feet above sea level, which means that in addition to getting the chance to see the castle from the inside and stare at the building from the outside, one will also be granted a breathtaking view from its position up there on Belfast and Belfast Lough.

There is a story which not all the people know about for Belfast Castle; the original Belfast Castle was not the same one standing today in the video but it was another built in the 12th century by the Normans and which was placed in what is now Belfast city centre, but unfortunately it was burnt down. The building - Belfast Castle - which people visit today and which is the one in the video, was built when the Chichesters decided to build a new residence in the suburbs.

Belfast Castle which is standing today and which we have been to and enjoyed walking inside its rooms as well, was built between 1811 and 1870 by the 3rd Marquess of Donegall; the castle was designed in the Scottish baronial design that you can see when you visit it.

In addition to being one of the top places to see and visit in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Belfast Castle is also considered a very recommended spot and place for wedding ceremonies as well as a good place for those who want to have a cup of tea in a different, kind of royal, place once in a while.

We have been to different other castles in Belfast, or Northern Ireland in general, which we were also excited about and came back home really appreciating those old buildings which we have managed to visit and go through.

Belfast Castle in Northern Ireland is one of those different castles, but we have also been to Dunluce Castle in Northern Ireland where some of the scenes in Game of Thrones movie series were taken (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdTqJPL-i5Y), we have also visited Oranmore Castle which is a Norman Castle near Galway and which we were also excited about taking a 360 degree video in it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBzVjxz6rKk), it was also a good trip which we have made to Dundrum Castle in County Down, which is close to Newcastle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORKm4jhnwsA), and we have also visited the Enniskillen Castle and its museum which is located in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tWlyXiv3X4).

With every single castle we managed to visit and enter its doors, we were welcomed with a different kind of experience and we ended up enjoying every single thing we manage to see inside - even the kids loved the idea of being in such royal places.

When it comes to Belfast Castle, one of the things which we loved in addition to the beautiful views that one could receive from up there (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izfYckbUiKE) is the green area that is surrounding the castle and making the whole location a lot more different and much more beautiful for a little bit of walk afterwards.

There are different things to do in Belfast in general in addition to visiting Belfast and which could be about visiting Belfast City Hall and checking that important building out there (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0tsLMZf2PE), going to visit St. Anne's Cathedral which is considered the most famous in the city (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k63KxsVKNi4) along with passing through the cathedral quarter with its streets, bars, restaurants, and other hidden gems (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teQFlh-ezts), as well as visiting different other places which you could decide on after getting on the hop-on hop-off bus tour that will take you through the streets of the city and give you the chance to see all those different beautiful buildings carried inside it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXz7_Rt0UaI).

Have you ever been to Belfast Castle before?

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
