Lucknowi Biryani / Awadi dum biryani
One of the most popular biryani recipe .with No spice powders, No tomatoes...still it tastes heavenly delicious and is very flavorful.

Ingredients
Basmati rice - 3 cups
Fried onion - 1 big onion, sliced and fried
Raw spices ( like cinnamon powder, shahi jeera, cumin seed, fennel seed, cardamom, mace)
Green chilies - 5 nos, slit
Milk - half a cup
Chopped coriander and min leaves
Ghee - 3 tbsp + as required.
Salt as required

Chicken marination
Chicken - 1 kg, make big pieces.
Thick less sour curs - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Salt

Yellow mixture - 1 tsp Rose water + 1 tsp milk + 2 drops of yellow food color.
