En el sistema de tubeless tradicional las llantas vienen con una capa que cubren los radios, y las cubiertas estan fabricadas con material mas resistente que el convencional, Tienen bordes para encajar y sellar- completamente con las llantas . Estas no necesitan liquido sellante, pero es recomendable utilizarlo porque se reduce mas las posibilidad de pinchar.
