📖 Nicolas Vuignier is thought to be the inventor of the centriphone. In 2016 he made up a similar construction and, with the help of an iPhone attached to it, filmed incredible footage of him skiing. Matt and Kim made an entire music video using the centriphone camera technique. By the way, that’s where we took the idea of our DIY construction we’re going to show you today.
🔧A centriphone is something like an action camera mount. To get a dizzying piece of footage, you need to attach your Sony Action Cam, GoPro, or even smartphone to the centriphone and spin the device over your head. If you shoot at high FPS parameters, you can slow down your video while editing and get an amazing slow motion effect similar to the bullet time effect from “The Matrix”.
