Benchmarks (measuring performane) and Goals.

We talked about constructing a plan and approach - now we want to talk about benchmarks and goals. We don't want to change stuff too soon i.e. tweak our trading system too soon as you will end up always chasing your tail. But you don't want to leave it too long either... If you are a day trading you will need at least a couple of weeks. The goals are not going to be financial goals - the goals would be things like: have I stuck to my plan? You need to be able to stick to the plan. How are we going to measure our improvements? How are we going to know that things are working for us? That's where benchmarks come in handy because ultimately this is going to affect our profits and loss at the end of the day.
