The visitor will choose the one that would appeal as the most interesting and will go along with it.
The walks in Rostrevor Fairy Glen are considered among those easy and short ones that people could go through and experience. This walk starts in the village at the Kilkeel side of the bridge and follows the Kilbroney River upstream for half a mile. It will always depend on the trail that you have chosen, if you decided to go on any of these two which are linear, you will then need to trace your steps back to the start point, but if you managed to take the circular route then you could go in a circular round until you reach back your destination.
Since the Fairy Glen is located in the Mournes Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is important for those visitors being around the place to check different historical landmarks, such as the Big Stone, St. Bronagh's Church and Bell, and Giant's Murphy Grave; these places make Mournes one place that reflect history and folklore.
