Day in the Life Koh Lanta Thailand With Chris Hughes
http://WhosChrisHughes.comIt wasn't until arriving in Thailand that I realized just how many people are looking to live the "digital nomad" life. I've been one for the last few years without really realizing that there was a term for it, which is pretty funny to me.
Well, here's a look into the digital nomad life on the island of Koh Lanta, Thailand

What is life like as a Digital Nomad? Well, honestly its just a little different than you may be used to if you live in the normal world. I'm currently living in Koh Lanta, Thailand and living the same type of life I do everywhere I travel.
The difference here is just the office location where I build my businesses from. Instead of the "traditional office space" that most people are used to, I spend time in either cafe's or co-working spots. On the island of Koh Lanta, I spend a large chunk of time working at the KoHub co-working spot.
In the video here, you'll see briefly the entrance and a shot of my girlfriend and I working in the office. Instead of boring you with watching us work for hours on end, we shortened this part of the video to be as short as possible. But that is where we work here so you at least can see the "office".
After work, we usually head out for lunch and then head down to the beach for an hour or so to read and swim around in the ocean and un-wind.
Sometimes we'll go back to the co-working space and work for a few more hours, other times we just work at our condo. It depends on the day.
After that, we head down to the beach for sunset and usually watch sunset from the beach and then grab dinner.
It's a pretty simple life. We just choose to work where its warm and there is an ocean nearby instead of living in a city.
For those of you looking to live the digital nomad life, keep pushing along and working hard. It will pay off as long as you never give up.

About the Site π
This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. π₯
Origins of the Idea π±
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. π§
Challenges Faced π€
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. π
Creating Truly Random Links π οΈ
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube πΊ
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. π
Content and Users π΅
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact π€
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. π
