Baklava , the rich crispy exotic sweet which melts in our mouth. That is Turkish baklava or Greek baklava. This arab sweet has numerous layers of thin sheets with crushed nuts in between and is baked until golden and crispy. This is then sweetened with sugar syrup . The history of baklava is still not documented and so there is a confusion regarding it's origin. This is a popular sweet recipe in middle eastern and arab countries.
