https://www.youtube.com/maqaroonSeveral viewers suggested using PVA powder to make slime and I was really excited to try it out! This is a fairly specialist ingredient but used in several industries (paint, soap, flower crafts, medical supplies) so it's not too difficult to find online. Amazon wasn't actually that useful, so it's best to search over Etsy, Ebay, Alibaba or standalone webshops.
DIY slime made from powder is really fascinating because it's noticeably drier than glue slime (doesn't have that sloppy texture which tends to stick to your skin). DIY powder slime feels more like a clay or play-doh but stretches incredibly well. Most importantly, it changes almost all the "rules" of making slime such as having to use glue, face masks, shaving foam, lotion, borax, contact lens solution etc.
In the follow up video I experimented with many different ingredients and made 10 DIY slimes in a completely dry form. For instance, you can pre-measure out glitter or pigments and add that directly to your slime powder. This saves you quite some time compared to a normal slime making process. I also loved the fact that this slime doesn't turn your bowl or spoon sticky. It's extremely easy to clean and sticks to itself, so you can simply use the slime to "pull" any leftover bits from your mixing utensils.

Please keep an eye on the quantities. The bag I used in my video was 1kg / 1000g and should cost around $20-30 when sold in bulk. Some sellers only offer 100g which is usually slightly more pricey but still effective for making slime.
