Luckily this did not take as long as a typical #POLISHMOUNTAIN but it was more painful on the hands. Squeezing out 140 tubes of glue is not the funnest way to spend 2 hours :P. I used my crystal slime recipe with contact lens solution which really works so well. The trick for making DIY slime without borax is baking soda which creates alkaline pH conditions in the glue. This "activates" the borate inside eye drops or contact lens solution which causes the PVA to clump together, thus creating slime. I've been fascinated by beautiful videos of DIY thai slime / DIY indonesian slime on Instagram and I've been trying to remake those since the beginning of this year. I'm so happy that it's finally working and I've learned a bit of science along the way.

The brands of clear glue that definitely work for DIY slime are Elmer's Glue (USA), Povinal (Asia), Pelikan Pelifix (Germany, Austria), AMOS (Korea, USA) and Pritt Craft Glue (UK).
