RARITY is a unicorn pony who resides in Ponyville and is one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Rarity is the older sister of Sweetie Belle and the love interest of Spike.
She works at Carousel Boutique (her shop) as both a fashion designer and as a seamstress.
Rarity represents the Element of Generosity. Unlike Twilight Sparkle, her magic is used for activities related to her special talent and for basic tasks such as holding and carrying items or finding gems.

Each pony represents a different face of friendship. Twilight Sparkle discovers herself to be a key part of the magical artifacts, the "Elements of Harmony". The ponies play together, share adventures and help out other residents of Ponyville, while working on their own friendships.
