Are we bound to leave earth eventually? Will we settle somewhere else in the universe? Many scientists and physicists have long predicted that one day we will have to leave our blue planet behind and find a new home in order to survive, and it could happen sooner rather than later. Out of all places, our very neighbor planet Mars could be the answer and the new home for us.
Dutch organization Mars One is aiming to reach the red planet by 2024 if everything goes as planned. They are constantly working on the project and are very confident about this mission to be successful. Although MIT experts have suggested that this mission is very unlikely to happen and people on Mars could face issues with oxygen supply. But Bas Lansdorp, the chief executive officer of Mars One, has suggested that there should be no problem whatsoever. Although he admitted that supplying things on Mars from earth could be an issue, as it takes almost 7 months to reach the red planet from earth. But he has suggested that everything is going according to the plan and that he is taking a look into every single detail of this mission.
Will it ever happen? Will we have to leave earth one day in order to survive? Will we ever be able to live on Mars with all the possible difficulties that we could face? Only time will tell what is written in our fate. Watch to find out more!
