Bei Windows 10 gibt es in einer Standard-Installation über 5.000 ausführbare Programme und Apps, also technisch gesagt EXE-Dateien. Diese kann man wahlweise für den Benutzer sperren, so dass dieser nicht jedes Programm oder jede App ausführen kann, um absichtlich oder unabsichtlich Windows 10 zu beschädigen.

Das ist ganz praktisch, wenn man PCs mit Windows 10 in Schulen hat oder an einem PC verschiedene Nutzer arbeiten, die meistens nur bestimmte wenige Programme brauchen, bspw. den Firefox zum Surfen im Internet oder mit dem PC eine Maschine gesteuert wird.
