https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1fuTVldRuMCharcoal Metallic also sometimes referred to as Gun Metal Grey (Gray) is the 2nd hardest to find finish option in collectible condition from the special colored 80s Les Paul Customs. The reason for that is this color seems to get played heavily. This means the finish is usually worn off the neck or someone routed it out for a Kahler Tremolo unit. This metallic finish is also highly prone to finish checking - so finding one without tons of that is also difficult.
This one is far from mint, but it is the cleanest I've seen come up for sale for awhile. When it comes to getting a Charcoal Metallic for your collection - you generally have to live with some wear and tear as not many were made.
Bill Kelliher of Mastodon and Mike Sullivan of Russian Circles are both well-known users of the 80s Gun Metal Gray Customs.

The Case...This guitar comes in it's original Generation 3 Gibson Chainsaw Case with Blue interior.
10lbs 2oz | 60s Neck This has been a search for the holy grail for me. In the Mid-80s, Gibson experimented with a few exotic finishes such as Pearl White, Bahama Blue, Ferrari Red, Silver/Pewter, Purple Burst, and Harvest Gold Burst - all of which are very rare and hard to locate - however, one of the coolest ones, Charcoal Metallic (aka Gun Metal Grey) has been a true pain-in-the-butt to find. Why is it so hard to find? First off, this finish was only offered from 1985-early 1987 and not many were made. Due to the cool finish, metal-heads loved these Customs and it was very popular to route them out for a Kahler which destroys their collectible value. Also, due to the metallic nature of the finish, it is HIGHLY prone to finish checking and there is usually ALWAYS wear to the finish on the back of the neck. They're great looking guitars so they usually get played hard. These Mid-80s LPCs in this finish are famously used by Mike Sullivan of Russian Circles and Bill Kelliher of Mastodon. My hunt was to document one with minimal finish checking, NO finish wear and NO Kahler. I've been looking for close to 7 years...

About the Site 🌐
This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥
Origins of the Idea 🌱
The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠
Challenges Faced 🤔
Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.
Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍
Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️
The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.
About YouTube 📺
YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟
Content and Users 🎵
Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.
While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.
Monetization and Impact 🤑
YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.
As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
