#RiceRavaUpma | #UppuduPindi | Indian Breakfast Recipe | Arisi #Upma is a simple dish that's most delicious and can be served as healthy breakfast. Rice upma or akki thari uppittu is a super-tasty breakfast / dinner recipe. It is easily digestible when compared to rava upma.
Rice rava or akki thari is the main item of the rice upma recipe. You can buy rice rava from a store or, at home,Wash the rice and dry it for 2 hours. grind the dried rice coarsely in a mixer and sieve to remove the rice flour.
Add a teaspoon of ghee on the rice upma. As a side dish, Ginger pickle or coconut chutney are fine choices. All these will be a treat to the taste buds.
Give the rice upma a try, and it would not be a surprise if you add it to your list of favorite dishes.
TIP : Cover and Cook on medium low flame for 5 mins after add the rava.
Switch off the flame and rest for 5 more mins before opening the lid and serving

Moong Dal - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Cashews - 6-8
Green Chilies - 2
Curry Leaves - few
Red Chilies - 3
Water - 4 cups
