City Hall Belfast Exhibition | Belfast Northern Ireland Video

Home
City Hall Belfast Exhibition, Belfast Northern Ireland - From the different things to do in Belfast, Northern Ireland, visiting the City Hall will be always suggested and found on the list. We have visited the City Hall new exhibition which opened lately and gone through the tour (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf9pE-8CEDs).

Belfast City Hall is the civic building of the Belfast city council which is located in Donegall square in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and which faces north, dividing the commercial and the business areas of city center.

This building that attracts lots of tourists nowadays has many connections with the famous liner Titanic, since Viscount William Pirrie used many of his skilled workmen in the fit-out of City Hall, and thus the interiors today are considered an insight into the finish of Titanic's lounges and suites - also another reason why you will get the chance to read and see things inside City Hall exhibition that are related to Titanic.

Visiting Belfast's City Hall means that you have to get to know the working hours related to every single thing you might get the chance to see inside. The City Hall building itself opens all day long from 10 AM and closes at 5 PM expect for the weekend it closes at 4 PM and this could even change at specific times. Inside the building, the exhibition and guided tours start at 9:30 from Monday to Wednesday and closes at 5, but it goes a little bit longer on Thursday since it finishes at 8 PM and it also starts half an hour later during the weekends.

Entering the new City Hall Belfast exhibition was for free and we enjoyed getting inside this building, seeing what they are displaying, and even attending one guided tour in the middle of the journey inside. It was actually worth it and the new exhibition is good with all the different rooms now open to the public.

We recommend following the tour provided inside the City Hall because an experienced guide will provide the visitors with information about the history of the building as well as the finest items and features found inside. There are different timings for this tour - first come, first served - so you should always register 10 to 15 minutes earlier. The tour lasts for about an hour and the timings available are 11 AM, 2 PM, and 3 PM on Mondays till Fridays, and 12 noon, 2 PM, and 3 PM Saturdays and Sundays.

We didn't get the chance to visit City Hall at night - from the outside - to show you how it is lit with colors (these colors change in specific occasions to reveal them) but it is actually one of the scenes which you will definitely enjoy watching.

In addition to the exhibition that you will enter and the different things and items you will get the chance to see from the inside and enjoy, there are also some statues and memorials placed around the building which are done as a dedication to a specific event that happened before.

One of the incidents that shed lots of tears and took the hearts of many people was the sinking of the RMS Titanic and in order to show some kind of appreciation to those lost in this accident, the City Hall dedicated a garden where the upper level display five bronze plaques listing all 1,512 names of the victims in this disaster - both passengers as well as crew. This garden is planted with springtime flowers with colors that are chosen to evoke the images of ice, water, and a sense of reflection. It is considered the only garden in the world to record all the names of the victims of Titanic on one monument.

Since we are in the city center of Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland, we decided to head out for a walk around the place to find something to eat and before getting to the place where we will fill our stomachs from, we stopped at the Hotel Chocolate and realized that we have entered the chocolate paradise; lots and lots of types to choose from and drinks as well which we definitely liked.

Belfast is filled with different places that tourists could place on their to-do list and since City Hall is one of these different destinations then there is one item off the list. From the other places which one could head to, there is St. Anne's Cathedral (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k63KxsVKNi4), there is the Commercial Court in the city (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIBfUcGkBaI), there is also Belfast Castle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81TzF27Jxxc), some people could also think about visiting the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xpOSaxwqlA), or else walk through the city to get introduced to it on a closer level (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiUR8SoBens).

There are different Belfast attractions that make this city one of the busiest in Europe (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5BzwwXmA-A) and that is why it should definitely carry its place among the cities which you are supposed to visit.

Have you ever been to Belfast city before? If yes then tell us more about your visit to the City Hall of Belfast.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. πŸŽ₯

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced πŸ€”

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. πŸ”

Creating Truly Random Links πŸ› οΈ

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube πŸ“Ί

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎡

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact πŸ€‘

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. πŸ“ˆ
