Increasing your position size.

When trading we want to make as much money as possible with the minimum risk and I truly believe this is what we all target. If we are going to risk that much, we want to make as much money as we can. As such we all try to find a strategy that works well for us; sometimes we fall in some traps here and there; we think we are risking small amounts but we end up with losses too frequently...etc Let's say you finally find a trading strategy that works, how do you increase your position size? Redoing.
First of all let's talk about fixed versus variable position sizing:
a) Fixed; for every single trade I do I'm going to risk X; this could be a fixed percentage of your account balance or it could be a fixed amount (say GBP200 or GBP500..etc)
b) Variable; means more flexibility. Let's have we have a strategy; let's call it 'Rocket' strategy which involves buying pullbacks. We might have different grades of this strategy. When the setup is more favourable we increase our position sizing accordingly.
